ACCEPTING THESE TERMS
By using 1000Yen Eats you accept these terms. If you don't, don't use the app. The app is free; we don't charge for any feature. If that changes, we'll tell you in-app before charging anything.
WHAT THE APP IS
1000Yen Eats helps you find cheap meals in Japan. It is not a reservation engine, a review site, or a ranking system. Restaurant information is informational: verify hours, prices, and dietary suitability with the restaurant itself.
YOUR ACCOUNT
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. Your account and content are yours. You can delete your account from the Profile screen at any time, and we will delete your data with it.
WHAT YOU PUT IN
When you log a meal, write a note, or upload a photo, you keep ownership. You grant us a limited licence to store and display that content inside the app, to you and (only if you opt in) to other users. Don't post content that is illegal, hateful, or that you don't have rights to.
PUBLIC CONTENT AND THE FOLLOW GRAPH
Public meal logs and achievements you opt to show on your profile are visible to any signed-in user. The follow graph (who follows whom) is also visible.
NO REVIEWS, NO RATINGS
We don't ship a star-rating or review feature, on purpose. Meal logs are a record of what you ate, not a verdict on the restaurant. If we ever add evaluative features, we'll update these terms first.
AFFILIATE LINKS
When available, some RESERVE buttons open a third-party site (e.g. Tabelog) via an affiliate link. We may earn a commission on bookings made through that link. You pay nothing extra. The booking, refund, and customer-service relationship is between you and the third party.
NOT MEDICAL OR DIETARY ADVICE
We don't verify dietary suitability (allergens, halal, vegetarian, etc.). Restaurant cuisine tags are best-effort and may be wrong. Always confirm with the restaurant before eating if you have restrictions.
AS-IS, NO WARRANTY
The app and the restaurant data are provided as-is, without warranty. Restaurant info comes from OpenStreetMap and Google Places and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app.
CHANGES
If we change these terms in a material way (e.g. adding paid features, changing data we collect), we'll surface a notice in the app before the change takes effect. Trivial wording fixes don't require notice.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by Polish law. Local consumer-protection rights still apply where you live.
